Theoretical Basis and Practical Path of Cultivating Top Innovative Talents in Colleges and Universities

Abstract

Cultivation of top innovative talents appears as a national talent development strategy, aiming at answering Qian Xuesens
question. However, the connotation of top innovative talents has not yet been clearly defined in the academic circles, and there are still
deficiencies in the exploration of cultivating top innovative talents in colleges and universities, which lacks mature theoretical preparation
and practical guidance. The purpose of this paper is to do a systematic combing of the theoretical basis of the top innovative talents, clarify
the basic concept and connotation of the top innovative talents, and from the practical point of view, to explore the method of selecting the
top innovative talents, so as to provide an effective path for the cultivation of the top innovative talents in Chinese colleges and universities for reference.
