Exploration of College Students Social Practice and Career Development Paths in the Elderly Care Industry

Abstract

This study examines the symbiotic relationship between college students social engagement and professional growth in elderly care
through a two-way empowerment framework. Through analyzing current participation patterns and career prospects of university students in
senior care services, the paper highlights their distinctive role in skill acquisition, vocational awareness enhancement, and professional network cultivation. Conversely, it investigates emerging career pathways in the evolving elderly care sector, emphasizing their alignment with
young professionals competencies amid industry modernization demands. This dual-perspective approach not only reimagines career navigation strategies for new graduates but also proposes a synergistic ecosystem where youthful dynamism converges with geriatric care innovation, potentially introducing novel solutions to systemic challenges in aging societies.
