In the wave of globalized economy, higher education in English, as a crucial cornerstone for cultivating international talents, is increasingly highlighted in importance. With the growing frequency of international exchanges and the rapid rise of multinational corporations,
English, as a global lingua franca, has become an important measure of the comprehensive quality of talents. Therefore, reconstructing higher
education in English, oriented towards economic development, and cultivating high-quality talents with an international perspective and crosscultural communication skills, has become an important topic in current educational reforms. The article takes the reform direction of higher
education in English as a starting point, and analyzes the English education strategies based on economic development orientation for reference by relevant personnel.
