A Study on Tourism English Teaching and the Cultivation of Translation Skills from a Cross-cultural Perspective
Abstract
This paper focuses on the teaching of tourism English and the cultivation of translation skills from a cross-cultural perspective, with the aim of
analyzing the main teaching points, exploring appropriate translation methods and training strategies, and helping tourism professionals to improve their intercultural communication competence. At the same time, through the in-depth study of translation skills such as transliteration,
lexical addition, interpretation and provincial translation, combined with the enrichment of teaching theories based on TPACK framework, the
extension of the connotation of the integration of production and education in vocational education colleges, and the promotion of teaching
reform of intelligent ecology + integration of production and education, the author hopes to provide all-round guidance for the optimization
and development of tourism English teaching practice.
