Abstract


Cultivating students English translation competence is of great significance for improving their English test-taking ability, enhancing their competitiveness in the job market and spreading Chinese culture. Against the backdrop of the increasingly deepening globalization,
cultivating students English translation competence and enabling them to become high-quality translation talents are of vital importance both
for individual students and for the development of the country. This paper aims to explore the teaching strategies of English translation in colleges and universities, so as to help students master translation techniques, enhance their language application ability, and improve their English translation competence.
