Exploring Talent Cultivation Pathways in Sino-French Cooperative Education from the Perspective of CrossCultural Academic Adaptation

Jiajie Hua

Abstract

The French engineering education system, with its unique training methods, has cultivated countless outstanding engineers for
France and the world at large. An increasing number of Chinese students have developed a strong interest in it. However, students who go
to France to study at engineering schools generally face adaptation problems. The educational philosophy and teaching methods of French
engineering schools differ significantly from those in China, posing great challenges to students studying in a cross-cultural environment.
This paper attempts to propose suggestions from the aspects of updating classroom teaching models, enhancing students cross-cultural
communication abilities, and transforming talent cultivation concepts, in order to improve the cross-cultural adaptability of students heading to France.
