College Students Paint a New Chapter of Rural Revitalization and Ideological and Political Education with the Brush of Professional Practice

Naiwen Chen, Jingjing Zheng

Abstract

Under the background of deep integration between rural revitalization and the Great Ideological and Political Education in higher
education, the School of Intelligent Construction at Fuzhou University of International Studies and Trade has pioneered an innovative Rural
Revitalization + Ideological Education model. By establishing a collaborative university-local education mechanism, it explores practical
pathways for young scholars to serve rural communities.
??Using rural construction service teams as practical carriers, the initiative extends ideological-political classrooms to Chinas countryside
through university-local collaboration, curriculum integration, and technological empowerment. Leveraging jointly established rural revitalization workstations, Science and Technology Commissioner service stations, and online volunteer platforms, it effectively integrates academic
resources with rural development needs. This creates a virtuous cycle of practice-oriented education - professional empowerment - value
guidance, addressing the abstraction dilemma of traditional ideological education while injecting technological, cultural, and talent-driven vitality into rural areas. The model provides a replicable paradigm for the deep integration of collegiate Great Ideological-Political Education
with national rural revitalization strategies, demonstrating how university youth can achieve both personal growth and social value through
serving national strategic objectives.
