Exploration on the Construction of a Measurement Index System for the Development of Ideological and Political Education in Higher Vocational Colleges

Kexin Han

Abstract

This research develops a measurement index system for ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges, covering
four dimensions: students perception, teachers delivery capability, teaching practice effectiveness, and curriculum influence. The Analytic
Hierarchy Process is employed to establish the weights of these indicators, revealing that students perceptions are the most critical factor in
evaluating educational development. Future research should focus on gathering data across diverse regions and vocational colleges and updating indicators to align with changing educational policies and industry needs, thereby supporting the enhancement of ideological and political
education within vocational curricula.
