The Feasibility and Effectiveness of Integrating IELTS and Traditional English Teaching in the Flipped Classroom
Abstract
foundation-exam reinforcement-academic transfer. This model deeply integrates systematic knowledge from traditional English with the
practical needs of IELTS exams. Before class, micro-lessons and AI diagnostics complete the input of basic knowledge and student profiling;
during class, high-intensity simulation training focuses on personalized score improvement through tiered mechanisms; after class, ability
transfer is reinforced through corpus analysis and dynamic path planning. Despite challenges in technical costs and student self-discipline, the
application of lightweight tools and gamification has driven this model from pilot programs at leading institutions to industry-wide adoption,
marking a shift in English teaching from exam-driven to competency-based.
