In the context of vocational undergraduate education focusing on cultivating applied talents, the innovative development of sports
dance teaching is crucial. The interdisciplinary teaching model has injected new vitality into sports dance education by breaking down disciplinary barriers and integrating resources from multiple disciplines, thereby enhancing students comprehensive qualities and professional
skills. This paper delves into the necessity of interdisciplinary integration in vocational undergraduate sports dance teaching, explores specific
teaching models and implementation paths, and analyzes potential challenges and response strategies. It aims to provide theoretical support
and practical references for improving the quality of sports dance teaching and cultivating professional talents who meet market demands.
