Abstract

Under the current new curriculum standards, physical education plays a crucial role in promoting students holistic development in
morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor. As society continues to evolve, physical education is gaining increasing attention.
By integrating multimedia teaching methods into physical education, teachers can provide students with a clear understanding of fundamental
movements in sports, enhance their basic sports skills, and leverage the engaging content to foster a love for physical education, thereby improving their athletic abilities. This article explores how to apply information technology to build multimedia classrooms in elementary school
physical education, aiming to offer insights for relevant stakeholders.
