The Promotion of Multicultural Understanding through the Intercultural Teaching of Cherepnins Jiang Jin Jiu
Abstract
With the development of globalization, the exchange and collision of multi-cultures has become a prominent feature of the times.
Music, as an art form that transcends language and cultural boundaries, plays a unique and important role in cross-cultural education. Qi Erpin, a Russian-American composer, created a musical work based on Li Bais Into the Wine, which skillfully integrated the artistic conception of Chinas classical poems with the expressive techniques of western music. His cross-cultural teaching is not only the spread and inheritance of music art, but also a bridge for dialogue and understanding between different cultures.
