Yucong Gong, Yifei Zhu

Abstract

With the rapid progress of society and the development of a knowledge-based economy, the importance of education, as the foundation of national development, has been rising. The traditional education model can no longer meet the social demand for diversified and
innovative talents, so the concept of big education is gradually emerging. This paper discusses the core content and characteristics of the concept of big education and its impact on education reform, and puts forward strategic suggestions. Through literature analysis and comparative
study, this paper points out that the concept of big education stresses the comprehensiveness, lifelong and openness of education, and requires
the education system to be innovated in terms of content, method and evaluation to meet the needs of the times. At the same time, this paper
analyses the challenges of the big education concept in practice and puts forward a practical path, aiming to provide theoretical and practical
support for building a better education system and promoting comprehensive human development.
