The Potential of the Arts in Educational Futures: Making a Case for Visual Art

Abstract


The history of visual arts education is long, and in light of the future of education, its potential cannot be ignored. The potential of
visual art may be realised by both learning in and through visual art. Visual arts can cultivate students creative thinking, critical spirit, and
complete personality in an uncertain world. Visual arts can enhance students cultural understanding and cooperative coexistence in a multicultural world. Visual arts can develop students aesthetic qualities and their ability to participate in the creation of a better world.
