Exploring English Reading Teaching Strategies in Senior High School Based on Deep Learning

Abstract


This study, grounded in deep learning theory, explores instructional strategies for senior high school English reading by applying a
deep learning teaching practice model. Focusing on four dimensionslearning themes, learning objectives, learning activities, and learning
evaluationthis paper takes the text Mother of Ten Thousand Babies from the Reading and Thinking section of Unit 2 Morals and Virtues in the Senior High School English Compulsory Book 3 published by Peoples Education Press as a case study. Through the design and
practice of specific teaching content, this paper tries to analyze the current problems in the reading teaching, improve students thinking ability, comprehensive language use ability and promote the overall development of students English core literacy.
