AI + Education: Discrete Mathematics Teaching Reform Integrated with Multiple Disciplines

Wendi Zhong, Wenbin Zhang, Guohao Zhang

Abstract

There is a separation between the teaching and application of discrete mathematics courses at the undergraduate stage. In response
to this situation, this paper proposes an innovative reform of discrete mathematics teaching integrating multiple disciplines based on large
models like Deepseek and AI productivity tools like Kousi and Trae. Specifically, by generating personalized teaching plans through AI and
assisting teaching with AI tools, the alignment between the discrete mathematics learning process and the application of professional knowledge can be enhanced. In this way, students motivation to learn can be improved, enabling them to apply the knowledge learned more effectively to professional practice.
