Miaozhen Feng

Abstract

Project-based Learning (PBL) is a student-centered teaching method that promotes knowledge comprehension and capability development through the design and implementation of practical projects. In the field of Theatre, Film and Television Art Design, PBL helps
students master the process from conceptual creativity to final presentation through real-world projects, enhancing their design capabilities
and teamwork skills. This paper explores the application of PBL in this field, including project selection, role allocation and teamwork in the
teaching process, as well as feedback and evaluation in project implementation, and analyzes the effects and challenges of PBL. The study
shows that PBL significantly improves students comprehensive qualities and practical operation abilities, but also faces challenges such as
resource and time management, and student participation. This paper aims to provide references for educators in Theatre, Film and Television
Art Design to promote the wide application of PBL.
