Mimi Lu

Abstract

In the context of deepening economic globalization, society has raised higher expectations for the English proficiency of vocational
college students. This paper explores effective strategies to enhance learning interest by addressing the lack of interest in English among vocational college students. These strategies include strengthening foundational skills, innovating teaching methods, creating a conducive learning
environment, and implementing diverse evaluation and incentive systems. The aim is to provide insights for the reform of English teaching in
vocational colleges, thereby stimulating students initiative and improving the quality of English education.
