The Impact of Traditional Chinese Tie-Dye Course Experience on College Students Aesthetic Sensitivity: The Mediating Roles of Cultural Identity and Emotional Engagement

Abstract


This study aims to explore the impact of traditional Chinese tie-dyeing course experiences on college students aesthetic sensitivity, using cultural identity and emotional engagement as intermediary variables to construct a multiple intermediary effect theoretical model.
Through questionnaire surveys and analysis of structural equation model data, the results show that participating in tie-dye courses significantly enhances college students aesthetic sensitivity; cultural identity and emotional engagement play important mediating roles, with a chain
reaction. This study reveals the aesthetic educational functions of traditional craft courses, promoting cultural identity and emotional engagement, and providing theoretical support and practical guidance for the planning and implementation of aesthetic education courses in higher
education institutions.
