Multimodal Integration of Ideological Education in College English Courses

Chang Liu

Abstract

With the continuous popularization and application of cutting-edge technologies, the digital intelligence transformation of
education and the comprehensive implementation of the fundamental task of cultivating virtue and nurturing talents have become new
directions for higher education institutions to implement curriculum-based ideological education. Based on the analysis of problems existing in college English courses such as information overload, imbalanced input of Chinese and foreign cultures in attention-dispersed
environments, and the separation between ideological education and language teaching, this paper proposes a new practical model using
multimodal teaching, aiming to provide practical pathways for the innovative development of ideological education construction in college English courses.
