Exploration of Teaching and Assessment Methods for "Electrical Machinery" Based on OBE Concept

Abstract


Based on the Outcome Based Education (OBE) teaching philosophy, this article conducts an analysis and evaluation of the Achievement of Course Objectives in the Electrical Machinery and automation major course "Electrical Machinery". Firstly, the supporting relationship between the Course Objectives of "Electrical Machinery" and the graduation requirements indicators was clarified; Then, an assessment
and evaluation system was proposed, and a method for calculating Achievement of Course Objectives was provided; Finally, the Achievement
of individual Course Objectives and overall objectives of students are calculated. Based on the statistical results, the teaching effectiveness of
the course is explored, problems in the teaching process are analyzed, and improvement measures are proposed to provide objective data support for professional evaluation and teaching quality monitoring in applied undergraduate colleges.
