Abstract

The current preservation of Nanyin faces five major challenges: the tension between innovation and tradition, a talent gap in professional practitioners, difficulties in transforming inheritance methods, declining modern audiences, and insufficient socio-economic support. To
address these issues, this paper proposes core strategies: maintaining Nanyins core values while exploring moderate innovations; establishing
a university system integrating "teaching-research-practice" to cultivate professionals; leveraging digital platforms and new media to expand
dissemination; deepening intangible cultural heritage education to enhance audience aesthetic awareness; and strengthening government leadership with social support to achieve sustainable preservation of Nanyin.
