Abstract
boosting the enjoyment as well as the efficacy of these classrooms. The 5E teaching method, which is based on constructivist theory, consists
of five stages: Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate. This approach that centers around students encourages active and in-depth
learning. By means of literature analysis, case studies, and experimental methods, the study discovers that the 5E teaching method possesses
high applicability in ideological and political classrooms. It can spark students interest and curiosity, deepen their comprehension through exploration, assist in forming a systematic knowledge system, enhance their application and innovation abilities, and conduct a comprehensive
assessment of learning outcomes. The findings offer new viewpoints and methodological support for the reform of ideological and political
classrooms, underscoring the significance of student-centered teaching models.
