AI-Enhanced Web Front-End Development Course Teaching Model Based on CDIO Framework

Chengxi Tao, Zhengui Huang*, Maoye Tang

Abstract

This paper addresses the issue of the disconnect between web front-end development course instruction and industry demands
by integrating CDIO principles with AI technology to propose a teaching reform model. After analyzing the existing shortcomings of
the course, a three-stage case-based teaching system is constructed, incorporating AI for instructional application exploration. Students
are guided through progressive projects according to the four stages of CDIO, and a multi-dimensional evaluation system is established.
This model aims to enhance the quality and effectiveness of course instruction and provides a reference for related course teaching
reforms.
