A Discussion on the Innovative Path of POA Teaching Model for IELTS Courses in Independent Colleges

Abstract


Independent colleges and universities face difficulties such as a weak student base and inefficient traditional models. The theoretical
framework of "driving, promoting, evaluating" of the output-oriented approach provides scientific guidance for teaching reform. The core of
the innovation path lies in building an IELTS task-driven output-oriented system, a multimodal input facilitation mechanism, and a comprehensive evaluation system. Through systematic teaching implementation, professional teacher development and institutionalized guarantee
measures, an integrated teaching model of "IELTS skills + POA concepts + independent institution characteristics" has been formed to achieve
the coordinated development of exam-taking capabilities and comprehensive qualities.
