Analysis of Classroom Lead-in Strategies in English Teaching

Abstract


The classroom lead-in is an important part of English teaching, playing a significant role in stimulating students interest, activating
their prior knowledge, and guiding them to clarify learning objectives. However, in real class, some problems exist in this beginning part. So
this paper aims to analyze some widely used strategies for designing effective lead-in activities, supported by specific examples in the 13th
High School English Quality Lesson Competition.
