Abstract


This paper, set against the backdrop of the era of student affairs big data, conducts an in-depth analysis of opportunities and challenges facing ideological and political education in higher education institutions. It explores how big data technology can enhance the effectiveness of such education. Through examining big data applications in student behavior analysis, ideological trend monitoring, and personalized education implementation, the study proposes establishing a data-driven precision ideological education system. Specific implementation
pathways are outlined across dimensions including updating educational philosophies, building data platforms, enhancing faculty capabilities,
and innovating teaching models. The work aims to provide theoretical references and practical guidance for the high-quality development of
ideological and political education in universities.
