Research on the Cultivation of Data Analysis Ability in Business Administration Vocational Undergraduate Education under the Background of Big Data
Abstract
through competency-based education theory and the CDIO model. Building on the "practice-oriented, industry-education integration" characteristics of vocational undergraduate programs, we construct an integrated four-in-one data analysis capability development system encompassing knowledge, skills, practice, and innovation. A survey of 20 vocational undergraduate institutions nationwide reveals issues such as
fragmented curriculum systems, disconnected practical components, and imbalanced faculty structures. The research proposes three optimization pathways: restructuring course modules based on industry demands, deepening practical teaching through school-enterprise collaboration,
and strengthening capability transfer via dual-qualified faculty development. Using Hainan Vocational University of Science and Technology
as a case study, we validate the effectiveness of a three-stage cultivation model comprising data tool application, business scenario simulation,
and real enterprise projects. The findings indicate that vocational undergraduate education should focus on the integration of data analysis and
business management, establishing a distinctive "technology empowerment + managerial thinking" training system to meet the demand for
interdisciplinary talents in the big data era.
