Research on POA-Oriented Teaching Design of Ideological and Political Education in College English Curriculum Under the Concept of "Comprehensive Ideological and Political Education"

Heng Tang

Abstract

By analyzing the three-dimensional theoretical framework of Production-Oriented Approach (POA) and its tripartite alignment with
the "Comprehensive Ideological and Political Education" concept, coupled with practical case studies of the "Three-Stage, Three-Dimension,
and Three-Objective" teaching model, this paper demonstrates the efficacy of POA in harmonizing language proficiency development with
ideological and political education. Findings indicate that POA's closed-loop design effectively resolves the long-standing disconnection between language teaching and ideological and political education in the curriculum. Furthermore, it provides an operational paradigm for synergizing knowledge transfer, skill cultivation, and value orientation in collegiate English pedagogy.
