Exploring Challenges in Implementing the "Double Reduction" Policy from a Humanistic Learning Theory Perspective

Abstract


The "Double Reduction" policy aims to alleviate the homework burden and extracurricular tutoring burden on students in compulsory education, shifting from exam-oriented education to quality education to promote students' all-round development. While China has consistently prioritized reducing students' academic burdens, certain obstacles remain. This article examines the challenges in implementing the
"burden reduction" initiative from the perspective of humanistic learning theory and proposes corresponding solutions.
