Pathways for Developing the Self-Management Ability of College Students: Taking Academic Ethos Construction as a Strategic Nexus

Abstract


With the continuous deepening of higher education reform, it has become a key link in improving the quality of talent development to develop students' self-management ability. As an important part of the educational work in colleges and universities, academic ethos
construction has close intrinsic connection with the development of students' self-management ability. This paper takes academic ethos construction as a strategic nexus, deeply analyzes the interactive relationship between the two, and systematically explores effective pathways for
developing the self-management ability of college students from four dimensions: refining the institutional system, creating a cultural atmosphere, strengthening practice, and reinforcing guarantee and support, aiming to provide theoretical and practical reference for colleges and
universities to enhance the comprehensive quality of students and build good academic ethos.
