Research on Online Teaching of English Vocabulary in Accounting Industry from the Internet Perspective

Wenzhe Li

Abstract

With the Internet technology promoting the internationalization and digital transformation of the accounting industry, accounting
English vocabulary has become the core carrier of international accounting communication, and online teaching has gradually become an
important form of such vocabulary teaching. This study used literature research and questionnaire survey methods (targeting accounting
learners from 8 universities and practitioners from 3 accounting firms, with 628 valid questionnaires collected) to systematically analyze
the core characteristics of English vocabulary in the accounting industry, such as "strong professionalism, high frequency of abbreviations,
and high context dependence". The study also sorted out the advantages and disadvantages of two mainstream online teaching models:
platform based courses and APP assisted memory. Research has found that current online teaching has problems such as lagging resource
quality, lack of scenario based and personalized teaching design, and emphasis on memory in learning effectiveness evaluation. Based on
this, optimization strategies are proposed to construct a "dynamic+specialized" resource system, design a "scenario based+personalized"
teaching mode, and improve the "process based+practical" evaluation system, in order to provide reference for improving the quality of
online English vocabulary teaching in the accounting industry and helping accounting talents adapt to international scenarios. Finally, the
limitations of the research sample are pointed out, and future research directions combining artificial intelligence technology with international comparisons are discussed.
