Abstract


With the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology and its extensive penetration in the field of translation, the demand for talents in the translation industry has undergone tremendous changes. From early simple translation tools to intelligent AI translation
systems, technological advancement has not only greatly improved translation efficiency but also posed significant challenges to translation
professionals. In this context, the education system for translation majors must be adjusted accordingly to cultivate talents that meet the needs
of the times. Taking this current situation into account, this paper analyzes the specific impacts of AI technology on the translation industry and
the field of education, explores the role transformation and teaching model innovation paths of translation major teachers the AI era, and provides
theoretical basis and practical guidance for cultivating high-quality translation talents who are capable of meeting the demands of the new era.
