Research on "Chinese + Vocational Skills" Education from the Perspective of World China Studies

Yudou Wei

Abstract

Based on the theory of World China Studies, this research explores the connotations and development models of "Chinese + Vocational Skills" education, finding that it highly aligns with the concept of mutual learning between China and foreign countries. However, it
currently faces challenges including the absence of theoretical frameworks, inconsistent curriculum standards, and immature faculty systems.
Through analyzing the collaborative practices between Shaanxi vocational colleges and countries along the "Belt and Road, " the study constructs a talent cultivation system based on mutual learning between China and foreign countries, and proposes a faculty training framework
of "Chinese teaching ability + vocational skills + cross-cultural competence." Results indicate that "Chinese + Vocational Skills" education
serves both as an effective vehicle for promoting cultural exchange between China and foreign countries and as an important pathway for advancing the integrated development of international Chinese education and vocational education, providing systematic theoretical and practical support for World China Studies in the educational field.
