Research on the Integration Path of Physical Education and the "PostCourseCompetitionCertificate" Model in Vocational Universities under the Strategy of Building China into an Education Power

Abstract

Amid China's education-power strategy, university PE is shifting from fitness-only to a holistic model integrating ideological-political learning, mental health, and professional competence. Vocational undergraduate institutions therefore need a professionalized, job-oriented
PE transformation. The postcoursecompetitioncertificate (PCCC) model links posts, curricula, contests, and certifications, forming a
"teachlearntraincompetecertify" loop that enhances health, skills, and literacy. This paper identifies fragmentation, unclear pathways, and
weak evaluation; clarifies PCCC's connotations; and proposes routes: top-level design; post standards with schoolenterprise collaboration;
curriculum and faculty rebuilding; competition-driven, digital support; certificate integration and alignment; and multidimensional assessment.
A case at Xinjiang Vocational University of Technology offers scalable guidance and a reform paradigm.
