Construction and Practice of Teaching by Competition for Non-English Major Students in Higher Education

Abstract


The educational transformation in the digital economy era is driving pedagogical innovation toward diversified integration. The
competition-driven blended teaching model, which combines online-offline resource integration with task-oriented competition mechanisms,
has emerged as an effective solution to address the challenges in cultivating intercultural communication competence among non-English majors in higher education. Against the backdrop of educational digital transformation, this paper analyzes the unique value of blended teaching
models in reshaping educational ecosystems and enhancing competency development. It proposes a strategic framework centered on curriculum system iteration and practical platform development.
