Systematic Construction of Cultural Theme-based Teaching Integration into English Curriculum in Basic Education: Synergetic Mechanism and Practical Exploration of Intercultural Communicative Competence Cultivation

Abstract


Against the backdrop of the intertwined coexistence of globalization and localization, the English Curriculum in Basic Education
has transcended the mere positioning of a linguistic tool and bears the important mission of cultivating students'cultural awareness, intercultural communicative competence, as well as shaping their national feelings and international perspectives. To explore effective implementation paths for Cultural Theme-based Teaching, this study conducts an in-depth analysis of the implementation process of integrating
Cultural Theme-based Teaching into the English Curriculum in Basic Education, systematically explains its synergetic mechanism in the
cultivation of intercultural communicative competence, and strives to construct a scientific and comprehensive practical system of Cultural
Theme-based Teaching. This study is expected to provide theoretical support and a practical framework for the cultural teaching reform of
the English Curriculum in Basic Education, and help students grow into intercultural communicators with both national feelings and international perspectives.
