Implementation Pathways for Cultivating Creative Thinking in Visual Communication Design Teaching

Abstract


Against the backdrop of the iterative evolution of the visual communication design industry, creative thinking has become the key
kernel of the core competitiveness of design professionals. At present, in the teaching of visual communication design, there exist problems
such as the formalization of creative thinking cultivation and the disconnection from practice, which restrict the improvement of students'
design innovation capabilities. Based on the disciplinary characteristics and teaching laws of visual communication design, this study deeply
explores the implementation pathways for cultivating creative thinking from four dimensions: teaching content restructuring, teaching method
innovation, practice platform construction, and assessment system refinement, aiming to provide an actionable teaching frameworks for improving the teaching quality of visual communication design and cultivating high-quality design professionals.
