Research on the Current Situation of Cyberloafing Behavior Among College Students in the Digital Age

Yunhu Lin

Abstract

To understand the current situation of cyberloafing behavior among College students, this study surveyed 565 undergraduate students in Nanning, Guangxi, using the College Student Cyberloafing Behavior Questionnaire. The research found that the overall level of cyberloafing behavior among College students is relatively low, falling within the moderate to low range. Specifically, no significant differences
were observed based on gender or place of origin. However, significant differences were identified in the overall or specific dimensions of
cyberloafing behavior based on whether the students were only children, their major, academic year, or daily internet usage duration. Relevant
recommendations are proposed accordingly.
