Updating the Teaching Content and Innovating Teaching Methods in Chemical Engineering under the Background of Industry 4.0
Abstract
transformation of the chemical industry towards intelligence, greenness, and efficiency. It sets new requirements for the knowledge structure
and practical abilities of chemical professionals. Currently, there are problems in chemical teaching such as lagging content, single methods,
and insufficient integration of industry and education. These issues make it difficult to meet the demands of industrial upgrading. Based on
the technical characteristics of Industrial 4.0 and the development trends of the chemical industry, this paper proposes teaching content update
strategies from three aspects: core knowledge module reconfiguration, integration of interdisciplinary content, and upgrading of practical
teaching system. At the same time, it explores innovative methods such as virtual simulation teaching, project-based teaching, and online and
offline hybrid teaching. Combined with teacher training and the mechanism of industry and education collaboration, a guarantee system is
constructed to provide teaching reform ideas for cultivating interdisciplinary chemical professionals who can adapt to the development of Industrial 4.0.
