Research on the Construction of a Three-Dimensional Model for AI-Enhanced English Writing Instruction in the Context of the New Liberal Arts

Abstract


In the context of the construction of the new liberal arts and technological innovation, English writing instruction faces the demand
for a shift toward competency cultivation. Based on the requirements for nurturing talents in the new liberal arts, this paper explores the coupling mechanism between generative AI and English writing teaching, and constructs a three-dimensional model that anchors competency
goals, optimizes teaching processes, and improves evaluation systems. The study aims to provide practical pathways for technology-enabled
English writing instruction in the new liberal arts, help address the pain points of traditional teaching, promote the substantive development of
writing instruction, and enhance the quality of training for versatile English talents.
