Yu Gao

Abstract

University aesthetics courses bear the important task of enhancing college students aesthetic literacy, cultural understanding, and
ability to make value judgments. Based on the current implementation status of aesthetics courses in universities, this article analyzes the
innovations in teaching content, optimization of classroom methods, and improvement of evaluation mechanisms. It proposes that by recon
structing a knowledge system that combines classical foundations with contemporary awareness, strengthening the connection between theory
and practical life, introducing interdisciplinary perspectives, advancing digital and intelligent teaching, and improving formative evaluation,
the courses can shift from knowledge-based teaching to competency-generating education.
