The Application of Project-Based Teaching in College Art and Design Courses

Abstract


Project-based teaching has distinctive practicality and comprehensiveness and can play a role in the reform of higher education in
art and design. This paper reviews the teaching characteristics of art and design courses that emphasize both hands-on and theoretical learning
and respond to the market, analyzing the adaptive value of project-based teaching in creating real situations, integrating diverse knowledge,
and reconstructing teacher-student relationships. Combined with three directionsintelligent interaction, product design, and digital media
the paper breaks down the implementation methods of practice-oriented projects, scenario-based projects, and innovative projects. Project
based teaching can promote the simultaneous growth of studentscomprehensive design abilities and professional qualities.
