A Study of New Target Chinese Spoken Language 3 from a Cross-Cultural Perspective
Abstract
sion and cultural exchange. This paper systematically analyzes the cultural and linguistic flaws present in the textbook, such as inaccurate cul
tural expressions and inappropriate language usage that may hinder effective learning and communication. Based on the principles of Teach
ing Chinese as a Foreign Language (TCFL), it further offers targeted improvements, including optimizing cultural content, revising linguistic
expressions, and enhancing practicality, to better meet the needs of foreign learners and promote smooth cross-cultural interaction. These tar
geted revisions aim to make the textbook more suitable for international learners, helping them grasp Chinese language knowledge accurately
and understand Chinese culture deeply, thus improving the quality of Chinese teaching and facilitating better cross-cultural communication.
