From Local to Global:An Instructional Design for Xizang University Students Based on CLT and Output Hypothesis
Abstract
and Swain's Output Hypothesis. The 45-minute lesson, themed From Local to Global, connects English learning with cultural expression, us
ing tasks that promote communicative competence and intercultural communication. It emphasizes output-oriented pedagogy, reflective revi
sion through AI-assisted feedback, and an integrated skills approach. Despite challenges like limited class time and proficiency differences,
the design offers a framework for improving language learning and cultural expression. The study highlights the role of culturally grounded
tasks and digital support in enhancing language education in minority contexts.
