Application of Situational Teaching Method in English Class
Abstract
training goal of vocational education, this paper combines teaching practice, summarizes the core values of situational teaching, analyzes
common problems in classroom application, and puts forward targeted optimization strategies. The study shows that situational teaching has a
significant effect in stimulating students' interest and improving their language application ability. However,prominent problems exist, such as
situation design divorced from professional practice, insufficient teaching resources, unbalanced student participation, and inadequate teacher
competence. The conclusion indicates that focusing on professional scenarios, enriching teaching resources, paying attention to individual dif
ferences, and strengthening teacher training can effectively give play to the advantages of situational teaching, improve the quality of higher
vocational English teaching, and provide support for cultivating applied English talents.
