Application Exploration of Integrated "Reading-Lecturing-Writing" Teaching Method in College Russian Language Teaching: Comprehensive Expressive Ability Development

Yuying Deng

Abstract

Against the backdrop of a shift in college Russian teaching from knowledge transmission to the cultivation of comprehensive competence, Russian courses designed for students planning to study abroad place greater emphasis on the coordinated development of practical
language use, cross-cultural communication, and adaptation to academic life. Traditional teaching approaches centered on vocabulary explanation, grammar drills, and text translation can no longer meet the demands of study-abroad-oriented Russian instruction, which requires
students to be able to read with understanding, express themselves orally, write effectively, and respond to real-life situations. Based on this
context, this paper takes The Way to Russia series, a textbook widely used for study-abroad-oriented Russian instruction, as its primary teaching material. It focuses in particular on the adaptability of this method to study-abroad-oriented Russian teaching and, through representative
texts such as Red Square in Moscow, explores the practical application of segmented text explanation, key vocabulary annotation, immediate
interactive exercises, and digital tool-assisted instruction. The study shows that the integrated "reading-speaking-writing" approach can effectively promote students' transition from the accumulation of linguistic knowledge to contextualized oral and written output, and thus has positive significance for enhancing the practicality, systematicity, and adaptability of Russian courses.
