An Innovative Study of Pathways Toward High-Quality Development of Ideological and Political Education in Higher Education Institutions in the New Era
Abstract
China's universities faces a series of challenges, including a disconnection between educational content and students' practical needs, a single
approach to teaching, fragmentation of educational resources, and inadequacies in evaluation mechanisms. This paper, grounded in a holistic
educational philosophy and the perspective of educational modernization, systematically analyzes the multidimensional dilemmas in the highquality development of IPE. It proposes innovative pathways from six aspects: deepening the student-centered educational philosophy, advancing the integration of ideological and political education with disciplinary curricula, building a synergistic education ecosystem, empowering education with smart technology, improving evaluation mechanisms, and strengthening faculty development. The study suggests that to
achieve high-quality development, universities must further innovate in educational concepts, methods, and systems. This includes leveraging
emerging technologies, optimizing educational processes, and deepening collaborative education, thereby enhancing the appeal, effectiveness,
and sustainability of IPE. This research provides valuable theoretical insights and practical references for the high-quality development of
ideological and political education in higher education institutions.
