Research on the Composition of Mathematical Core Literacy and Teaching Adaptability for New Business

Xin Yang

Abstract

Against the new business education background, this study addresses the misalignment between higher - education advanced mathematics teaching and societal demands. It constructs a four - dimensional framework for new business talents' core mathematical competencies, empirically verifies teaching adaptability deviations, and proposes a systematic reform pathway. The research shows new - era business
professionals need four core competencies: quantitative cognition and modeling, algorithmic thinking and computation, data insight and decision - making, and innovative integration and ethics. Currently, advanced mathematics curricula deviate from these requirements in teaching
objectives, content, methods, and evaluation.
