Application of AI Large Models and Human-Computer Collaboration in Music Orchestration

Abstract


With the deep integration of artificial intelligence technology in the field of artistic creation, musical orchestration, as a core element
in shaping the timbral layers of a work and highlighting emotional tension, is facing opportunities for innovation in creation models. Traditional orchestration, relying on the accumulated experience of creators, faces challenges of low efficiency and limited style expansion, making
it difficult to quickly meet the demands of diverse musical scenarios. AI large models, based on the ability to analyze massive musical score
corpora, can generate orchestration plans in various styles, but the application of a single technology tends to fall into monotonous patterns.
Human-machine collaboration, leveraging machine-supported data along with the organic integration of human artistic expression, provides a
new approach to balancing orchestration efficiency, style innovation, and emotional expression. This paper will discuss the application value,
practical challenges, and development paths of AI large models and human-machine collaboration in musical orchestration.
